Icimani Adventure Center
Experience the journey at Icimani (eesh-ee-mah-nee)! At this 63-acre site just south of Roanoke, girls can hike through the many wooded trails, which might include some rocks and ropes along the way, or enjoy a game, activity, or outdoor sport in any of the three large fields. Back Creek runs through the property and invites wading and water activities including environmental science or a bit of fishing. To find true adventure, wade across the creek for primitive camping on an unexplored island. For an indoor escape, access the main building, where there is a large recreational and winterized area featuring volleyball courts, toilet and shower areas, a computer lab, and a kitchen area.
Development of Icimani Adventure Center will continue throughout the year as we improve the site and its facilities.
