Worst Case Scenario in a Practical Manner
Develop your skills and then combine them with others to solve a series of circumstances – all leading to developing your “super powers.” Strengthen your deductive reasoning skills and your knowledge of first aid, safety and more. The camp will work toward the beginning steps for the following IP’s: Your Best Defense and Outdoor Survival. The Emergency Preparedness IP can be complete during the camp.

Campers’ Ages
Girls entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2009 may attend as campers.
Leadership opportunities:
Counselor Apprentices
Girls who completed grade 8 or above in the 2008-09 school year may serve as Counselor Apprentices if they have completed the required council training course. (See page 4 for more information.) We would like for you to have served at least one year as a Camp Program Assistant before serving as a CA. This experience may have been obtained at any of the council’s other summer camps in the past years.
Junior Counselors
Girls ages 16-18 who completed grade 10 or above in the 2008-09 school year may serve as Junior Counselors. You will be required to attend the camp staff training session and any other sessions required by the program manager. We would like for Junior Counselors to have served previously as CAs.
Cost
$70 Camp fee (fees include a camp t-shirt. Please indicate size on registration form)
$10 Membership fee for non-Girl Scouts
Girls will need to bring their own lunch.
Deadlines
Camp registration: July 3
Scholarship application: July 6
Overnight?
No. However, a family night will take place on Thursday, July 23, from 6:30 pm-8 pm Families may bring a picnic dinner if they wish.
Transportation
Parents/guardians are responsible for their daughters’ transportation to and from camp.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
$20 of the camp fee is nonrefundable. Refunds are made only when a request is submitted in writing by the parent/guardian and received by the camp registrar no later than two weeks prior to the start of camp. |
