Once Upon a Time…
Come join us as we turn a normal camp into an island luau. Girls will experience life in the islands by learning dances, games and songs, tasting the foods of the islands, and learning about daily life there. Our week will conclude with a camp-wide luau. Girls will also spend time leaning camp skills to earn the summer camp patch. Swimming, hiking and making new friends will also be important parts of our fun-packed week.

Campers’ Ages
Girls who completed kindergarten or above in the 2008-2009 school year may attend as campers. Girls entering grade 7 or above may serve as Camp Program Assistants, Counselor Apprentices, and PAs [not sure what this stands for]. Not sure these last two sentences aren’t the exact same thing worded differently. Please notify the director if you are interested in these leadership opportunities. Once registered, you will be contacted by the program director with the dates and times of training sessions.
Cost
$60 Camp fee
($65 after July 1)
$15 Camp fee for PAs, CPAs and CAs
$20 Bus fee for campers and Pas, CPAs, and CAs
$10 Membership fee for non-Girl Scouts

Overnight?
We will have overnight tent camping on July 15 for girls at the Brownie through Cadette age levels. Juniors and Cadette Girl Scouts may also stay overnight on July 14. More details will be in the camp confirmation letter.
Transportation
Bus transportation will be provided. A schedule of times will be in the camp confirmation letter.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
$5 of the camp and/or bus fee is nonrefundable. Refunds are made only when a request is made in writing by the parent/guardian and received by the camp registrar no later than one week prior to the start of camp.
