Camp Like a Girl…Scout!
Are you ready for an outdoor adventure? Wanna cook outside? Use a knife? Lash a raft? Yes, it won’t be your ordinary day camp. Add in swimming, crafts, games, and an overnight and you have a week’s worth of fun that will help you Camp Like a Girl!

There will be a parent/camper/staff meeting on June 14 at 6 p.m. in shelter 3. Come meet the camp staff, shop the camp store and receive information.
Campers’ Ages
Girls entering grades 1-12 in the fall of 2009 may attend as campers. Campers entering grade 7 and above will participate in a special activity just for them.
Leadership Opportunities:
Camp Program Assistant (CPA) (rising grade 7 and above)
A program for girls who want to help younger campers. CPAs assist unit staff in carrying out camp program in the units and help with all-camp activities and projects. First year CPAs must attend CPA training given by the camp staff and all must attend other staff meetings as required.
Counselor Apprentice (CA) (rising grade 9 and above)
A program for girls to develop their leadership skills by working with the staff and teaching skills to campers. To be a CA, a girl must (1) apply for and complete the Council CA course; (2) register for camp and attend camp staff planning meetings; and (3) give service at camp.
Junior Counselor (rising grade 11 and above)
A girl can apply to be a Junior Counselor if she has previous camp leadership experience. Junior Counselors will serve as assistant leaders in the units and are required to attend the camp staff training session and other staff meetings.
To be considered for these positions your application and camp registration must be received by May 1.
Cost
Fees include overnight and camp t-shirt. Please indicate t-shirt size on registration form.
$50 Camp fee for girls entering grades 1-2
$65 Camp fee for girls entering grades 3-12
$30 Camp fee for CPAs and CAs
$10 Membership fee for non-Girl Scouts
No fee for Junior Counselors and small frys, staff daughters attend for half price.
Deadlines
Camp registration: June 1 (No registrations will be accepted after this date.)
Scholarship application: June 1
Overnight?
There is an overnight for all girls entering grade 3 and above on Wednesday. Girls entering grade 6 and above may also stay overnight on Thursday.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
$5 of the camp fee is nonrefundable. Refunds are made only when a request is made in writing by the parent/guardian and received by the camp registrar no later than one week prior to the start of camp.
