Enjoy Girl Scout traditions like sing-alongs, campfires, s’mores, and SWAPS (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere). Unleash your creativity, design new solutions to camping problems, bust myths, identify poison ivy, play outside, and earn badges.

June 27–29, 2014; 5:30 PM Friday – 2 PM Sunday*
*Daisy scouts are invited to come for Saturday only from 9 AM – 7:30 PM. Closing ceremony for Daisies at 7:00 PM Saturday.
Parents are invited to the closing ceremony held at 1 PM Sunday

 

Overnight?
Brownies and Juniors will spend two nights camping in tents. Overnight stay is not required.

 

Campers’ Ages
Daisies*, Brownies, and Juniors may attend as campers.
Older girls may apply for camp leadership positions.

 

Camp Leadership Programs
Contact the camp director if you plan to apply for one of these leadership positions.

Camp Program Assistant (CPA) (grades 7 and up)
This program is for girls who want to help younger campers. CPA’s assist leaders in carrying out camp programs and activities. Space for this is very limited. They must register for camp and attend a staff planning session prior to camp.

 

Counselor-in-Training (CIT) (grades 8 and up)
Older girls may apply to be a CIT. They must complete a CIT Application (#2630) and attend GSVSC’s CIT training. They must register for camp and attend a staff planning session prior to camp.

 

Counselor-in-Training II (CIT II)
(grades 10 and up; must have served at a GSVSC summer camp as a CIT)
Girls can submit a CIT II application (#2666) if they have previous camp leadership experience. They must register for camp and attend all camp staff meetings.

 

Cost
Fee includes six meals, snacks, camp t-shirt, crafts, and camp patches. Register by May 15 for $5 Early Bird discount.
$80 camp fee, Brownies and Juniors ($75 received by May 15)
$55 camp fee, Daisies* (Saturday only) ($50 received by May 15)
$40 camp fee, CPAs and CITs ($35 received by May 15)
$15 membership fee for non-Girl Scouts

Transportation
Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation to and from camp each day. Parents are encouraged to form carpools with other campers in the area or with their troop.

Send Summer Camp Registration (#2029) with Health History (#2072) (indicate t-shirt size) and fee (checks payable to Rainbow’s End Camp) to:
