Pet Love Day Camp
Pet Care
This is the place to come for pet-loving girls! This day camp is a prelude to the Pre-Vet Science Camp for the younger set. We have activities for you to do and animals for you to meet. Learn all about what different pets (such as dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, hamsters, sheep, and alpacas) need to be happy and healthy. We have games for you to play such as Mock Pet Shop, grooming/washing day, a younger version of Animal Hospital, and a visit to a vet clinic (40 girls min./60 girls max.).

Campers’ Ages
Girls at the Daisy and Brownie age levels may attend as campers (grades K-3). Counselor Apprentices who have a love for pets and younger girls will be accepted for this camp to help with activities. Please contact camp director for more information.
Adults interested in helping with camp should contact camp director for a camp volunteer application. Volunteers’ daughters receive a 50% camp fee discount. Adults must be willing to stay for the entire camp. Parents/relatives will be given specific duties and assigned to a unit other than their related camper’s.

Fee includes Pet Love patch.
$135 Camp Fee
$12 Membership Fee for non-Girl Scouts

Transportation
Parents/guardians are responsible for their daughters’ transportation to and from camp.

Refund/Cancellation Policy
GSVSC Cancellation Policy applies to this camp.
Please Note: Participants will receive complete confirmation information upon paid registration. Girls need to bring lunch and drink daily. Snacks and other drinks will be provided. Girls also need to bring a cloth bandana, a water bottle with carrying strap and a small day bag. Everything should be marked with the child’s name.
