Mush, mush your way into earning the Alaska Council’s Own Dog Sledding badge! The Siberian Husky Assist brings us a day of fun with dog sled rides pulled by big, bouncy huskies, the history of dog sledding, canine breeds, and making a miniature wooden dog sled. For the Take Action project, girls should bring an item such as dog food, large dog collars, food/water bowls, dog toy, etc. Register early as this event fills quickly!
Participants may attend as individuals (with sponsor/adult/parent) or troops (with appropriate number of leaders/adults). Parent/guardian or leader will need to stay during the program.
