Join the Adventurers for monthly paddling adventures on rivers located in our Council, with emphasis on water safety and improving paddling skills on moving water. Each Float is led by Adventurer Coordinators with canoe and kayak experience. We provide all the necessary equipment. Experience level required will be determined for each float, and advertised as such – some will be very basic flat water floats, requiring nothing more than swimming ability and comfort on the water. Others will be more difficult – medium, requiring novice skills with ability to control the boat, and faster moving water but not overly tricky. We will also try to provide some more difficult floats where you will need to be able to control your boat in moving water.
May 12th – Shenandoah River is a NOVICE level Float
