Celebrate the 100th Anniversary with Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from across the U.S. and beyond. Eight Adventurers and their advisors will travel to the Centennial Camporee sponsored by Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. The group will leave on Sunday, June 24, 2012, and return on Saturday, June 30. Accommodations will be in air-conditioned barracks with meals provided. Girl Scouts will participate in a number of activities including archery, riflery, fishing, climbing wall, and many other outdoor events. Fees include car transportation (from Roanoke; possible pick-ups in Martinsville and Lexington areas), lodging and meals at the camp. Girl Scouts will need travel money for two lunches and one supper, and spending money for souvenirs at the camp.
Participants may attend as individuals.
