This is an ACA Trip Leader Course with a skills assessment for kayak and/or canoe. This is not a certification course; however, participants can come away with a certificate from the ACA stating they are capable of running a day trip on a Class I river and another certificate stating their skills and abilities on the day of the course. This course will enable those with previous paddling experience to become qualified to take groups on moving water. This course will be taught over a three-day period: 3-6 PM on Friday, all day Saturday, and 9 AM-5 PM on Sunday. Overnight tenting accommodations with flush toilets will be available.
