Challenge Weekend 2007

Camp Horizons, Harrisonburg, VA
Cost $90
Join the Adventurers for a weekend of fun, challenges, and friendship. Choose from a variety of activities for Saturday, ranging from caving to canoeing to archery and much, much more! Make your selection from the list in the packet. Participation in some activities is limited, so sign up now. A confirmation letter with directions and a packing list will be sent to you in April.
Lodging will be in heated cabins with bunk beds. Girls may attend as individuals with the choice of one buddy. Troops that register WILL NOT be placed in the same unit, but each girl may choose one buddy. Registered adults may sign up as staff – the fee will be $50, with a $20 additional fee per activity (2) if they wish to participate. Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast, and a snack, are provided. Special program Saturday night.
Activities to include Archery, Canoeing, Caving, Climbing Wall, Rock Climbing, High Ropes, Horseback Riding, Jewelry Making and Mountain Biking.

Belay Certification Classes: Being offered on request at Roanoke Parks and Rec’s Rocwood Climbing Center. Spend a couple of hours learning to belay so you can coordinate a climbing event. Contact Debbie Clark at: 540-989-0203 or dsclark@sitestar.net for more information.
